RB Leipzig's goalkeeper, David Raum, has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a knee injury.
The German international suffered the injury during RB Leipzig's match against Hertha Berlin in January and was replaced by Emil Ruckstuhl.
Rumours have suggested that Raum may need surgery to repair the damage to his knee ligaments, which could rule him out for up to six months.
However, it is unclear at this stage whether he will be able to return to action before the end of the season or if he will require further treatment.
Regardless of the outcome, Raum's absence from the team has caused concern among fans and players alike.
With the club currently sitting in third place in the Bundesliga table, it is crucial that they can find a replacement goalkeeper who can step up and provide the necessary support to their team.
In addition to Raum's injury, RB Leipzig also lost another key player, midfielder Kevin Volland, to an injury earlier in the season.
Despite these setbacks, the team remains determined to compete for a top-four finish and secure a spot in next year's Europa League.
As the transfer window approaches, it is hoped that RB Leipzig will be able to bring in a new goalkeeper to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming campaign.
