Ivan Toney, the Al Ahli star striker, has scored his first goal for the team in their friendly match against Al Wasl.
Toney, who is known for his impressive goalscoring abilities, was delighted to score his first goal in the friendly match and expressed his excitement at the occasion.
"I am really happy to score my first goal in the friendly match," Toney said after the game. "It's been a long time since I have scored a goal and it feels great to finally do so."
The striker added that he had received good support from the coach and teammates during the game and that they were all excited about the opportunity to play together again.
"Being part of this team has been really exciting," Toney said. "We've been working hard and we're looking forward to playing well together."
Toney's goal came just moments after he scored his first goal in the league for Al Ahli, as he headed home a free-kick from a corner kick from Ahmed El-Sheikh.
"I'm very happy to get into the goal when I did," Toney said. "I think it was a fantastic chance for me to score my first goal for the club and I'm grateful for the support I got from the coaches and teammates."
Despite scoring his first goal, Toney admitted that there is still room for improvement in his game and that he will continue to work on improving his skills and technique.
"It's important to keep working on improving our game and getting better," Toney said. "There's still a lot of work to be done, but I'm confident that I can make progress and improve my performance."
