Al Nassr have released an injury update on Sadio Mane, the Senegalese international forward who is set to miss the rest of the season due to a knee ligament injury.
The club confirmed that Mane had sustained the injury during their match against Al-Qadisiya in Saudi Arabia on Saturday and that he will undergo surgery shortly after his return from the hospital.
The news comes as a major blow for Al Nassr, who were already struggling without their star player for much of the season. Mane has been one of the club's most important players this year, scoring 11 goals and providing six assists in just 22 appearances.
The club will now look to find a replacement for Mane, with several options available including Al-Hilal, Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli. However, it remains to be seen whether any of these clubs can fill the void left by Mane's absence.
